I've officially hung out my shingle as a cartoon marketer and purveyer of infographics! Cartoons are one of the best ways to reach an audience--it's impossible for most people to resist reading them, they're easy to share, pin, tweet and all that other good stuff. Check out my new site by clicking on the banner above and let's talk about what I can do to help you!
Brand New Edge City Site!
Check out our brand new Edge City site in the official King Features webring. After years of neglecting my lame, pre-educated-in-HtML DIY one, I'm megapsyched to have this fancy Comicpress deal, which posts our comic strip the day they appear in the papers. Plus, there's a blog!
Poster for Camp Galil
I did this poster last spring for Camp Galil, in Bucks County, PA. It's been a big hit and they're putting it on tee shirts and whatnot. It was a great project and I think it came out real nice.
Comic For Qlikview
Recently completed this super-cool comic, an 8-pager promoting Qlikview(scroll down a little to see the link), an app that allows businesses to access large amounts of data in a way that maximizes it's understandiblility and usefullness. It's got a science fiction theme because it's aimed at IT guys and we all know they like science fiction.
Aren't comics a cool way to get this kind of message across? Contact me and I'll do one for you.
Infographic for Rackspace
Hey, I'm in the infographic business! I designed and illustrated this Earthday-themed piece for cloud-computing powerhouse Rackspace and CITO Research. Click on the thumbnail to see the whole thing. Here it is on the Rackspace site: http://bit.ly/HTSg7z
Video for CITO
I storyboarded and illustrated this video for CITO Research, which explains some of the new ways to store and process data. I think it came out super-nice! Even if you already know where to put your data, it's pretty fun to watch.
Edge City Takes On The Holocaust
In April 2012, during a period which included Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, Edge City featured a storyline about the Holocaust, which we believe was an unprecedented event in syndicated comics. The story drew on Patty's experience working with survivors in the Philadelphia area as part of her job at a local assisted living center. The response was tremendous and we've collected the strips into a downloadable PDF, suitable for casual readers or for classes in the subject. It's only $1.99 at our strip's site, www.edgecitycomics.com.
The Muktuk Books are Out!
My all-new, original Muktuk Wolfsbreath graphic novel has completed it's and is now available in both print and ebook formats. Both can be ordered by clicking on the appropriate button in the ad at the top of the sidebar to the right. The print version is 124 pages in full-color and the pdf looks absolutely smashing on an iPod. You can also still read the first chapter of this epic tale at http://www.hardboiledshaman.com. All versions contain not only the webcomic, but the first 3 original, never-reprinted stories from my alternative comics Cud and Cud Comics.
