Yom Kippur

In 2005, I decided to try writing a graphic novel. I finished the first part and roughed out the rest, then sent it around to agents, hoping for a big publishing deal. I got an agent pretty quickly, but the deal was not forthcoming. Unable to take on finishing a 180 page book in my spare time, I put the project aside, at least for present. Here are the pages I finished--judge for yourself if it's worth pursuing further.

The Mating Season

I did this story for Blab #8, way back in 1995. I've always been fond of it, and it's never been reprinted. Yes, it's an homage to Harvey Kurtzman's classic Two-Fisted Tales piece "Corpse on the Imjin!"
